Top Five Led Zeppelin Songs
Whenever someone says Classic Rock, chances are they’ll be talking Guns N’ Roses, Van Halen, or Led Zeppelin. Led Zeppelin is objectively one of the most talented Classic Rock bands, being able to have a new style each album, and sometimes each song. The songs would be varying in stills from differing lyrics, instruments used, and even just basic rhythms. Now with Led Zeppelin making so many songs, which are my personal favorites?
5. All My Love
With a smooth feel and some softer lyrics than other songs, All My Love provides a nice feel throughout the song. With acoustic guitars backing out the emotional, but not depressing lyrics, and a simple percussion part tying everything together, it’s synthesizer only makes it better.
4. Immigrant Song
It starts with an intro of audio fuzz, then kicks straight into a guitar and the iconic scream of the song. Now, Immigrant Song is a more personal choice for me, because this was probably my favorite song specifically for that scream. Not one of Zeppelin’s longer songs, but still a great tune.
3. Kashmir
Just try to name a more iconic Rock or Zeppelin intro to a song, but that’s not the only thing Kashmir’s got going for it. A large mixture of instruments all compliment the vocals. If you go to any Zeppelin or Zeppelin Cover Band concert, you’re bound to hear Kashmir.
2. Fool in the Rain
Alright, this may have the better known intro, but Kashmir’s is still great. Fool in the Rain is a very upbeat styled song, but is down well unlike Hot Dog. Fool in the Rain has a great piano part, which perfectly syncs with the guitar part, and the lyrics and sounds all work together to make a fun, lighthearted song.
1. Stairway To Heaven
Try finding a Top Classic Rock Songs list without Stairway to Heaven on it. Aside from its amazing composition that splits it into three different but equally iconic parts, it stretches just over eight minutes. Not to mention it has one of, if not the best guitar solo in all of music. Combining all of these aspects, and with some amazing lyrics to boot, Stairway to Heaven is clearly the best Led Zeppelin song, at least in my opinion.
