The 10 Coolest Things From The Infinity War Trailer

After a long wait, the trailer for Avengers Infinity War has finally arrived. The trailer shows almost all of our favorite heroes, and shows s how they’ve been destroyed by Thanos. The trailer had many great parts, and I’ve listed the my favorite ten.

10. Spider-sense

One of Spider-Man’s main abilities, letting him know whenever trouble is nearby, has finally shown up in the MCU, and warns Spidey about Thanos’s ship. In the trailer we see Peter’s arm hair stand up, warning him of Thanos’s ship.

9. Iron Man, Hulk, and the Sorcerers

We get a few shots of this crew, the first being with Dr. Strange and Wong finding Bruce Banner. This seems like the group that’s together when Thanos makes his initial impact, and are seen getting ready to fight in a few shots.

8. Cap Catching the Spear

While this may be a quick shot, it’s the shot that shows the new, and bearded, Captain America. One of Thanos’s goons throws a weaponized glowing alien spear at Cap, who just catches it, showing that he’s still as quick as ever.

7. Loki Getting Cosmic Cube

It seems as though Loki has gone back to being evil after Thor: Ragnarok. We see Loki stepping over corpses, as well as finding the Cosmic Cube once more and being enthralled by it. One interesting thing is that in a later shot, we see the Infinity Gem from the cube in Thanos’s gauntlet.

6. Vision Losing the Mind Gem

We see a quick flash of this, but the mind gem is being pulled out of Vision’s head but what looks to be Loki’s scepter. Not only that, but Vision is back to his normal look, rather than the human form at the beginning of the trailer.

5. New Iron Man Armor

During the trailer we see Iron Man in a new set of armor, which seems to be based off of the Hulk Buster design. It’s shown very briefly, and is seen near what seems to be Wakanda.We don’t get to see the armor in action in the trailer though.

4. New Spider-man Armor

While this armor may not technically be new, as it was what Tony offered Peter at the end of Spider-man: Homecoming, it is the first time we’ve gotten to see Peter wearing it. We see this armor in two shots, the first being Spider-man on Thanos’s ship doing some flips. But the second shows Thanos slamming Peter down to the ground by his neck.

3. Iron Man Getting Pimp Slapped by Thanos

This is such a small but insanely meaningful moment. We see Thanos using his normal hand to punch Iron Man in normal armor, and it knocks Iron Man back. Not only does this show the raw power of Thanos, you can also see Iron Man recoil just before the impact.

2. Thor Meets the Guardians

At the very end of the trailer we see Thor talking to a group of people, promptly asking, “Who the hell are you?” We then see the Guardians of the Galaxy, with a teenage Groot and Mantis in tow.

1. The War in Wakanda

This is one scene the trailer shows a fair amount, and for good reason too. We see lots of heroes fighting what seems to be Thanos’s alien army. Some of the heroes include Falcon, War Machine, Black Panther, and a lot more. We also see the Wakandan army going up against the alien army, showing a side to the nation that might be seen more in Black Panther.
