3rd times the charm, right? After his appearance in Captain America: Civil War, Spider-Man has been back in the hands of Marvel, so of course they would make a movie with him. From this first trailer, you can already see the care put into the movie, so Marvel doesn’t screw up Spider-Man as well.

We see Marvel not making another movie about Peter Parker’s transformation and origin becoming Spider-Man, and it will also take place after Civil War, so Peter will have a fancy Stark Industry Spider Suit.

With the different characters, you can tell that they’ve known each other for a long time, and the few scenes we see in Peter’s high school really show that. You also feel that the Vulture, the villain of the movie, has a real motive for wanting to kill Spider-Man.

The trailer is chockfull of jokes and funny moments, which has been a big thing in Marvel, but really reflects how Spider-Man acts in the comics. Spider-Man Homecoming is set for a release on July 7th, 2017, and looks like it’s going to be the first actually good Spider-Man movie. Now if Marvel could get the rights for The Fantastic Four back, then we’d be golden.
