Now, I don’t usually cover singular tweets, but Nintendo just dropped a bombshell announcement out of nowhere. This large announcement was that Nintendo’s 16-bit console, the Super Nintendo, is getting a console in the style of the NES Classic. However, the NES Classic contained 30 games, whereas the SNES Classic only contains 21 games. We have confirmation on the full game list which contains Super Mario World, Earthbound, Donkey Kong Country, F-Zero, Super Mario Kart, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Contra III: The Alien Wars, Final Fantasy III, Kirby Super Star, Kirby’s Dream Course, Mega Man X, Secret of Mana, Street Fighter II Turbo: Hyper Fighting, Super Castlevania IV, Super Ghouls ‘n Ghosts, Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, Super Metroid, Super Punch-Out, Yoshi’s Island, Star Fox and the never before released Star Fox 2. The system has every game installed, and it comes with two controllers. It is able to played on modern TVs with an HDMI port as well. It will release September 29th, for $79.99.
