One of the, if not the most anticipated conferences, because the Nintendo Switch was released in March, and everyone is wondering what games are going to be released for the system. The console brought a revival to the systematic Zelda series, so that has people wondering what will happen to Nintendo’s other series.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 was shown, giving off some basic story elements. It shows our main chracters, and their goal. Gameplay was also shown, keeping the action RPG elements of the original. The antagonists were also shown. The world looks beautiful and massive, and the stakes look insanely high for the quest. It releases holiday 2017.

A new Kirby for the Switch in 2018. You can recruit enemies to fight along side you, and make special weapon combinations. It also has the same graphic style as Return to Dreamland.

We were also shown more footage of Pokken Tournament DX, but nothing we hadn’t seen before.

We were told Game Freak has been make a core RPG game for Nintendo Switch, but it won’t be out for more than a year. Sinnoh remakes?

Metroid Prime 4 is in development for the Switch currently. As the most recent one was released in 2007.

The logo that was shown.

There is a new Yoshi game where you flip the world by perspective, and can bring along a friend for co-op. Each stage can be changed and flipped, and it will release 2018. It is the same graphic style as Yoshi’s Woolly World.

Fire Emblem Warriors was shown, showing characters like Chrom, Xander, and Marth helping the two new characters fight a dragon that killed their mother.

Skyrim contains Link’s Breath of the Wild outfit and the Master Sword if an Amiibo is used.

The Trial of the Sword for Breath of the Wild, showing the challenges, along with the other DLC, which adds new armor and a harder difficulty. They all come in one DLC pack. The first is the Master Trials, and the second pack is called the Champions’ Ballad. All four champions from BotW are also becoming Amiibo.

Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle is a Turn Based RPG filled with combat and exploration. It is released August 29th.

Rocket League, the ever popular car soccer game is coming to switch with custom gear and accessories, with cross network support against other consoles. It releases this holiday.

Super Mario Odyssey showed Mario with a dinosaur, different costumes, and driving a moped, and controlling different animals. Mario controlled different enemies, and even used them to fight bosses. It was also accompanied by a very catchy song. It will be released October 27th, 2017.

I like Bowser’s new outfit.

This was a very cool conference, but I feel Pikmin 4 was missing, as it has been confirmed finished since 2014. Mother 3 was also absent as usual. However Metroid Prime 4, Kirby, and Rocket League will help distract me from their absence.
