So, let me just preface this whole article by saying that this event is 20 minutes longer than Nintendo’s E3 showcase. It’s also confirmed to just be about upcoming Nintendo Switch and 3DS games for the next few months. So, what was brought up in the video?

Nintendo Switch Games

Xenoblade Chronicles 2

We got a story trailer and showed the stakes of the game

Character named Rex is the protagonist

You explore the lands inside Titans

There are three drivers, and three blades

A driver can have multiple blades, but only bring three into battle

Releases December 1st

Also a special edition and themed pro controller

Splatoon 2

Kelp Dome is back, with more area and is playable friday

Snapper Canal has a river in the middle

Tenta Brella has a much larger guard area

Snipperclips Plus

Getting more than 30 new stages

Also replay original stages with different body shapes

This Nintendo direct, in my opinion, sucked. We knew about almost all of these games, and new information wasn’t provided. We also didn’t get any news on the still unnamed Yoshi game. It wasn’t a terrible showcase, it was to long for what it could have done in a much shorter amount of time. I also would have liked a new 1st party game, or just more news on the rapidly approaching Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon.
