Nintendo Direct E3: Everything We Learned
Today is the long awaited day, as Nintendo finally showed their E3 presentation. A fair amount of things were announced, but the presentation was mainly focused on the Smash Bros game. But Nintendo doesn’t just show new things in their presentation, but during the entire day. So, this article will be updated whenever new information is provided.
Daemon X Machina
This was the game that Nintendo opened with. We didn’t get much explanation on it, but it showed many flashy visuals. It seems to be a game about fighting Mechas in a Mecha, using guns and even swords.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna ~ The Golden Country
While Xenoblade Chronicles 2 was released last year, the story isn’t done yet. Here we see a whole new segment of story, which shows a group of people rising up to fight against an evil conqueror.
Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee
We saw many things we already knew, but now there’s an incentive to buy the Pokeball Plus. That’s because a Mew comes with each Pokeball Plus. It was also shown that to get your Pokemon experience points, you have to catch other Pokemon. There’s also a way to play with button controls, when you put your Switch into handheld mode.
Super Mario Party

Fire Emblem: Three Houses
Fire Emblem Warriors was released last year, but now a main series game will be added to the Switch’s library in the form of Fire Emblem: Three Houses. The trailer shows kingdoms at war over what are called the crests. It also seems as if you can control armies, not just a handful of people.
Fortnite
Fortnite, the game which has taken the world by storm, has just been announced, and subsequently released for the Nintendo Switch. Yes, you can play Fortnite on the Switch right now for free.
Octopath Traveler
Not much was added to what we already know, but we now know that it will be released on July 13th.
There were also some new games/ports announced coming to the Switch, including Overcooked! 2, Killer Queen Black, Hollow Knight, Starlink: Battle For Atlas, Arena of Valor, Minecraft, Pixark, Just Dance 2019, Dragonball FighterZ, Captain Toad: Treasuer Tracker, Ninjala, Carcassome, Fifa 18, Fifa 19, Ark, Wastleand 2, Paladins, Dark Souls Remastered, SNK Heroes, Wolfenstein 2, and even more.
Super Smash Bros Ultimate
