My Nintendo E3 Conference Wish List
Overall, this year’s E3 has been better than previous years. But with Nintendo entering their second year with the Switch, it seems time to announce some new games, as well as expanding details on some previously mentioned titles. So, what do I want Nintendo to show off tomorrow?
Pikmin 4
I’m a huge Pikmin fan, and the wait for Pikmin 4 just keeps going on. The worst part is, it has been confirmed that its almost, if not already done. I’m not even asking for a solid release date, rather I want at least a trailer.
Metroid Prime 4 Information
Last year Nintendo announced Metroid Prime 4, but only showed the logo. So, this event would be the perfect time to reveal lots of information on the next entry in the beloved series.
Super Smash Bros. Information
While Nintendo has already confirmed the new Smash Bros will be discussed, I would like to see both new and old characters and stages being shown off. However, I don’t want the entire game to be spoiled, which could happen quite easily. Either way, any information is good information for Smash.
Animal Crossing
After Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp was loved, even though it had very bare bones gameplay. So imagine how well a main series game would go, especially with the Switch’s portable nature.
Update on Nintendo Apps
Remember Mario Kart Tour? No? Well nobody would blame you, as Nintendo announced it in one tweet, and hasn’t provided any details since. So, why not announce the mobile Mario Kart game at E3, and allow it to be played later that day.
Mother 3
It’s been 12 years, and there’s still no word on an official localization. At this point we need it, just so we can move on from it, and look towards new games.
Pokemon Let’s Go Information
When Pokemon Let’s Go was announced, some people were pretty skeptical, but others just wanted to know more. While most people have already gotten a sense of it, a quick overview can help tie up loose ends.
A Waluigi Game
With a new Mario Tennis game coming out this month, Waluigi is going back to his roots. So, why not use that momentum to give Waluigi his own game for the first time.
New WarioWare Game
While 1–2 Switch was mostly used to show off the joycons, it could have been so much better as a new WarioWare game. Using the HD Rumble and easily passable joycons, it could be a great party game.
Mario Party 11
Speaking of party games, why not bring back the most beloved one in its original form, as a board game. While Mario Party 10 wasn’t terrible, one of its worst parts was putting everybody together in a car. So, Nintendo could switch it back to the original format.
