Moira, Overwatch’s Newest Hero

Almost a year ago, Sombra was announced as the newest Overwatch hero. Now, we’ve just gotten the announcement of the newest Hero, Moira. Now, both of these characters are in Talon, the antithesis of Overwatch, but they are both very different gameplay wise.

The first ability of hers that we see is teleportation, in a similar vain as Reaper’s. We see her attack, which is a beam that locks onto the enemy, draining their health. It can also be charged to release an orb that shoots out a beam on enemies in range. However, Moira can do the same thing with healing for teammates.

We also see Moira’s Ultimate ability. She shoots out a giant beam of both the healing and damaging beams. This causes massive damage to enemies, and can quickly heal teammates.

Moira will definitely change the way people play support characters, as she can do major healing, but also major damage. She is the fifth character to be added to Overwatch, after Doomfist this July.
