Mario Tennis Aces: Early Play and Adventure Mode

Mario Tennis Aces is just over a month away, and Nintendo is stoking the flames of excitement for it. Today we got not one, but two videos on the upcoming tennis game.

The first video was essentially a brief trailer for the mostly ignored Adventure mode. This trailer showed that Luigi is in trouble after trying to use the Legendary Racket. This has seemingly released evil spirits as well as possessing Wario and Waluigi. So, Mario will embark on a quest to save both his brother and the world.

From there Mario will travel along a map and completing different tennis related challenges. Whether it’s a regular tennis match with obstacles that teleport the ball, or fighting against a giant boss, Adventure mode looks like it has challenges to spare. Mario will also be able to equip different rackets which will have different effects on how you play.

But that wasn’t the only thing announced today. For those eager to play some virtual tennis, the beta will start on June 1st at 6:00 pm and will end on June 3rd at 11:59 pm PDT. But that’s not all, as anyone who participates in the beta will be able to get Mario’s regular outfit to use in Mario Tennis Aces when it releases on June 22nd.
