Explore Blocky Worlds in Pokemon Quest
Today we got a lot of Pokemon information, but some of it clearly outshines the others, such as a Kanto remake on the Nintendo Switch. But right now, I’m going to take a look at the other Nintendo Switch game, which will also be coming to mobile, Pokemon Quest.
The first thing you’ll notice that’s new is the graphics. These graphics are cubed, and have a much more simple and blocky design for the Pokemon.
The game seems to function like a phone game, where your Pokemon move around on their own, but you choose what attack they use. Some have one, while others have two. This adventure takes you across Tumblecube Island, a region made solely for this game. You can collect power stones and other treasures to get your Pokemon stronger. You can also power up your Pokemon enough to eventually evolve them. You can have a formation where you mix and match which three Pokemon to bring along.
There’s also a base camp where your Pokemon are when you’re not on missions. You can cook items there to lure in Pokemon. You can also decorate it, much like the main area of Super Mario Run.
Pokemon Quest will be releasing soon on mobile devices, but you can actually play it right now on the Nintendo Switch.
