Everything in Nintendo’s 2019 E3 Presentation

Once again it’s E3 season, where the biggest games are announced, and other games have tons of new details shared. Nintendo generally has pretty good conferences, and with no large game that’s being focused on, there are tons of new reveals on the horizon. So, what was announced today in Nintendo’s 2019 E3 Direct?

Super Smash Bros Ultimate

The Hero from Dragon Quest is the newest fighter in the DLC pack. He sports a sword and shield, as well as different magical abilities. These are selected by using a similar style to the RPG game menu. His alternate costumes are all different looks of other heroes from the series. This DLC will release this Summer.

There was also the announcement of Banjo-Kazooie, the platforming icon, being a new fighter in the DLC. They will be released this Fall.

Dragon Quest XI

This game is getting a remaster with more monsters to ride, previous Dragon Quest worlds to visit, and an even more expanded story. It will be released on September 27.

Luigi’s Mansion 3

This new game takes Luigi and his friends to a new hotel that they all get trapped in! Luigi will have to work with E. Gadd to save everyone. He’ll use a new poltergust with new moves, as well as being able to switch with Gooigi, or have an ally use him.

The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening

The game was shown off with it’s updated graphics. However, a new feature was that you’ll be able to create new dungeons and explore them yourself to get tons of rewards. It will release on September 20.

Trials of Mana

The action-RPG remake is gettting a global release on the Nintendo Switch in early 2020.

Collection of Mana

This collection hosts all three of the Mana series games on the Switch for the first time, those being Final Fantasy Adventures, Secret of Mana, and the original Trials of Mana.

Fire Emblem: Three Houses

A new story trailer was shown that gives history to the major characters of the game. It helps focus on the different aspects of teaching and learning. We also get its release date of July 26.

No More Heroes III

A trailer is shown with alien invaders atttacking, and Travis hopping into action. The game will come out in 2020.

Pokemon Sword and Shield

The Pokemon Go Plus will be able to be used, not as a controller, but to walk around with your Pokemon in the real world. The water gym leader was also revealed to be Nessa.

Astral Chain

A new story trailer revealed the threat of alternate dimension enemies. These chimeras are fighting the human race, but a new technology allows humans to capture chimeras as legions and use them to fight. It will be released on August 30.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order

A new trailer reveals tons of enemies you’ll fight, such as Mysterio, Doc Ock, Surtr, Hela, and more. However, new heroes such as Elektra and Ghost Rider were shown to be in the forefront. The game will release on July 19, and have an expansion pass with content from X-Men, Marvel Knights, and the Fantastic Four.

Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games

A new Olympic game is on the way with tons of sports like Surfing, rock climbing, boxing, swimming, and much more. The game will have online play and release in November.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons

The entry in the series has you starting on a deserted island where you build things all across your town. There’s also online play with tons of other players. Don’t worry though, Tom Nook will still charge you for everything. The game will be released on March 20, 2020.

Breath of the Wild Sequel

A brief trailer was shown that revealed a sequel to Breath of the Wild that features both Link and Zelda in the forefront, and also that the game is in development.

There are also other games that were shown, but not explained much, as well as games that have already been released: The Dark Crystal Tactics, The Witcher III: The Wild Hunt, Resident Evil 5, Resident Evil 6, Contra: Rouge Corps, Contra Anniversary Collection, Daemon Machina, Panzer Dragon, Empire of Sin, Cadence of Hyrule, Spyro Reignited Trilogy, hollow Knight Silksong, Ni No Kuni, Minecraft Dungeons, Elder Scrolls: Blades, My Friend Pedro, Doom: Eternal, The Sinking City, Wolfenstien: Youngblood, Dead by Daylight, Alien: Isolation, Dragon Quest Builders 2, Just Dance 2020, Catan, Dauntless, and Super Mario Maker 2.
