Detective Pikachu Sleuths onto the 3DS

Yes, there is such a thing as Detective Pikachu, and he’s getting a game on the 3DS, aptly named Detective Pikachu. It follows the adventures of a talking Pikachu who solves mysteries. You play as Detective Pikachu and a random kid, exploring a deep mystery in Ryme City. The game seems to use an overworld where you find clues, and with quick time events during cutscenes.

In accordance with the game’s release, there will be a new Detective Pikachu amiibo, which will be double the size of the regular Pikachu amiibo. Its function will allow players to see all cutscenes from the game up until the point they’ve played. Both the game and the amiibo will release on March 23rd.
