Animal Crossing is a Nintendo series many people haven’t heard of, but almost everyone who knows about it, loves it. It is a series where you live in a village full of animals and just go about your daily life in small bursts. So,what better series to bring to the phone? It has the perfect pick up and play style, and will also hep raise awareness of the series.

The direct starts with introducing you as the new campsite manager, decorating a camping area with all sorts of furniture, and have many animals come over to your camp.

To make furniture for your camp, you have to use materials. You can get materials by doing tasks for animals, similar to getting furniture from animals in the main series. You talk to Cyrus by having the correct material and the right amount of bells. Each animal has favorite furniture items, and will come visit if it’s placed. The animals ask for different things during requests, and in return they hand out different materials.

For the first time, animals have friendship levels. You can talk with them or do tasks to raise it. If they have a high friendship level, they’ll visit your campsite.

Leaf tickets are the gateway to Tom Nook taking not just your in-game currency, but your real money. These can either supplement any material that you don’t have, or speed up the installation process on bigger projects. However they can be gotten through regular gameplay. These leaf tickets also allow you to use special items. One of these is the throw net, which can catch 10 fish at a time.

Now, you won’t just be staying on the campsite the whole game, as there are four different places to explore. There is an island, a river, a beach, and the forest. These places all have different animals, bugs, fish, along with other items. The way you’ll travel between these locations are in your RV.

Another thing that helps keep the spirit of Animal Crossing in this new game is that when you play the game, it plays in real time. So, if you play at 8 am, it will be 8 am in the game. This helps with the immersion that the series reaches in every iteration.

However, you aren’t just doing manual labor in the game, you can go shopping as well. These shops do many things and carry many items, so who has what? Well, Nookling Global is the shop run by Timmy and Tommy, and they sell furniture items. To change up your outfit, you can visit the Able Sisters to go, where you can get a variety of clothes. However, if you want to get some kicks, visit Kicks!

However, one of the largest parts of Animal Crossing is decorating your house, but in Pocket Camper, you don’t have a house. But, you can decorate the inside of it with furniture and wallpaper. The exterior can also be decorated by OK Motors. They can give your RV a cool paint job, and a second upstairs room.

You can get lots of bells by catching bugs and fish, as well as finding ore in rocks.

Other people can come visit your towns, and you can go to other people’s towns. You can trade items, and become friends to visit anytime. You can also add real life friends.

Now, customization isn’t new to Animal Crossing, but for your base character, there are now many more options, including hair color, skin color, eye color, and if you’re a boy or a girl.

If you want to build large items, it can take a long time. The pool can take 72 hours to be made. This is where leaf tickets help by having him move along.

If you complete various goals, you can earn leaf tickets and various other items.

Just like in the main series, there will be seasonal events, with exclusive clothes and furniture, which will release after launch. Animal Crossing: Pocket Camper will release in early November.
